~ The Room ~
Carver Bill is a bit of a collector, a packrat if you will. His secret room is filled with the treasures of many years of hobbies which range from collecting coins to old oil cans.
In the first picture Bill is holding a recently completed Rainbow Trout. The smile in the center comes from being entertained by his granddaughter Chelsea Roberts, who can be seen watching him work in the last picture.
These walls hold such treasures as authentic arrowheads found by Bill on his own property, a ginseng root grown by his father long ago, hundreds of old wooden fishing lures, cases holding his knife collection, and many other things too numerous to mention. Every time you turn around you notice something new. Of course, every time you turn around there is something new! To see more of this incredible room, just click here.
~ Contest Winners ~
These ribbons were won at the Northest Michigan Sportsmans Show in Onaway, Michigan. November 2001.
This green ribbon was awarded at the Jensen National Fish Decoy contest in 2001, and the red ribben was given at the Duluth, Minnesota show.
With each show, Bill's decoys get a little better, and the ribbons get more frequent.
~ the Onaway Show ~
